Tom Pidcock starts his first Giro d’Italia after having won the U23 race back in 2020 in a dominant way. Pidcock needs no further introduction. He is one of the best riders in the peloton and our team leader in Italy.

Tom Pidcock joined Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team in 2025 and immediately won his first race in AlUla Tour. He also won a stage in Ruta del Sol and fought a fascinating battle with Tadej Pogačar on the white roads in Strade Bianche.
Tom doesn’t really need an introduction. He loves riding through mud, over rock paths and tree branches and on gravel. He has achieved a remarkable amount of offroad results at only 25 next to nine major road victories. He holds three cyclocross world titles: junior, U23 and elite, a junior and a U23 Paris-Roubaix title and of course two gold Olympic medals in mountain biking.
He comes from the north of Leeds, in the UK. He resides in Andorra with his girlfriend Bethany and two long-haired dachshunds: Chestnut and Acorn who take center stage at home as dogs tend to do. Nick Zukowsky is – practically – his neighbour. He started racing at the tender age of just seven years old. He rides on two wheels and knows how to ride a unicycle too.
Tom has a remarkable way of making comebacks winning his first gold Olympic medal two months after breaking a collarbone and his second one in Paris after puncturing early on and making up a minute gap.
“This is my first Giro d’Italia and I am excited. Racing in Italy is always special, and I’ve got a lot of great memories from racing there. It’s a fantastic opportunity for us as a team and we have a responsibility to show we are worthy of that opportunity. I believe the whole team is going with a mission to show ourselves as Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. For me personally I come with high ambitions and with the form I’ve carried from the Ardennes I know the legs will be there. Of course, there are many opportunities, but we are going to plan well and pick our moments.”
