Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team is delighted to announce the signing of Polish rider Kamil Małecki, the 24th and final rider of the Swiss-registered team for 2023.

6 January 2023

With three seasons at the WorldTour level under his belt the 27-year-old Polish rider will bolster Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team for the upcoming season. Małecki has previously shown great performances in both one-day and stage races, collecting multiple Top10 placings at World Tour races, such as the Giro d’Italia and Tour de Pologne.

“I’m very happy to join Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. I believe I will be able to progress and develop further as a rider in this team. My goal is to show good performances at the races and be in the fight for stages as well as achieve good results in the classics,” said Małecki. “The team is well organised and we have a very strong squad with whom we can get a lot of nice results in the upcoming season. I know I’ll get my chance to fight for victories and I can’t wait to get this season started!”

Małecki joins a team that includes a mix of experienced riders and up-and-coming talent, and will no doubt be a key part of the team’s future success.

“Kamil impressed us with his consistency across a wide range of races and we believe his versatility will be a great asset to our brand-new team. His experience at the World Tour will be equally important as we aim to race competitively in the biggest races on the calendar,” said Alex Sans Vega, Head of Performance at Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. “After a bad crash in 2021, Kamil made great progress in the previous season and, with our support, we’re confident that he will get back to his real level. We’re happy to have him onboard as our 24th rider and fully trust that he will bring valuable firepower to our stage-race lineups as well as the one-day races.”

“I’m really excited and honoured to be ‘back to business’ as a sports director. After a one-year break from pro-cycling I was delighted to receive the call from management to join this new and ambitious team. Cycling is my life and I’m prepared to take up this new challenge. At team CCC I experienced the squad’s journey from Continental to World Tour level and I’m eager to help Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team rise up the ranks and achieve their goals,” said Wadecki “I’ve previously worked with some of the other sports directors on the team and know I’ll be part of a highly professional group. The team has a diverse team of riders with huge potential. I cannot wait to start the season and show ourselves at the races.”

Małecki is the second Polish rider to sign with Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. He joins compatriot Szymon Sajnok in a team that boasts no less than 13 nationalities on its roster.

“We’re delighted to have had the opportunity to sign Kamil Małecki! He’s a disruptor that can support and challenge in the classics and 1-week stage races and therefore becomes a great addition to our international team. We’re extremely proud of the great roster that we’ve assembled and feel confident that Małecki, and his new team mates, will help us achieve our goals.” Douglas Ryder, General Manager, Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team.
