On Sunday, June 25th in Edmonton, Canada Nick Zukowsky won the 2023 Canadian Elite Men’s Road National Championship. It was the first victory as a pro for the 25-year-old Canadian and the first National Road Champion title for Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team.

Q36.5 immediately set about to design and produce a bespoke National Champion Kit that would incorporate both the premium technology of the Q36.5 Pro line and the design elements that characterised the Canadian champion jerseys, namely the maple leaf.

Opting for a bold, all-encompassing colour scheme of red and white – the colours of the Canadian flag –  Q36.5 with valuable input from Zukowsky himself, created a stunning jersey that featured all the key sponsors – Q36.5, UBS, SCOTT and SRAM – around the centrepiece of the crimson maple leaf. As with the team’s pro jersey, the Canadian National Road Champion Jersey, features a combination of different fabrics strategically placed. The red sleeves predominantly feature the Breitling logo and are made of a lightly ribbed fabric while the front panel is a micro perforated fabric. The back of this Q36.5 R2 jersey features a honeycomb mesh that ensures  a very light and very breathable jersey.

“We kept an aesthetic in line with our team jersey which is already striking and really cool”

The Canadian National Champion’s kit is completed with Q36.5 black ergonomic cut Gregarious Ultra bib shorts made of 100% recyclable materials. It features the SM-Anatomic chamois designed for a solid and substantial feel and all-round riding support.

The end design is a striking and distinct kit with a red/white colour scheme jersey and black bibs.
